What is Nextdoor.com and should I join?

Nextdoor.com is a social networking website (similar to Facebook) but is structurally setup by neighborhoods or subdivisions. You can create posts to inform your neighbors of an upcoming event, warning about something that happened, looking for lost pets, found a lost pet, looking for a contractor or repair company, etc.

It’s a good resource for communicating not only with your fellow neighbors in your subdivision, but also surrounding neighborhoods/subdivisions. Keep in mind that neighboring subdivisions like Amberwood use the same utility companies that Indian Paint Brush homeowners use and we may share similar concerns or issues.
